MTG Awarded Innovation Prize

Intelligent power grids, so-called “smart grids”, ensure important supply services in many areas – for example as part of the energy revolution. But in other high-tech systems, too, more and more devices are communicating with each other on the basis of digital infrastructures. The more virtual they become, the more threatened they are by possible hacker attacks and cyber-attacks. The protection of critical infrastructures is therefore a top priority for industry and government.

GÖRLITZ enters into co-operation with MTG

Aiming to provide the highest level of security for its metering system IDSpecto, GÖRLITZ has entered into a co-operation agreement with the expert company MTG AG. In future, the interface link between MTG’s security modules and IDSpecto guarantees that all security relevant processes are carried out according to the technical guidelines TR-03109 of the Federal Agency for Security in Information Technology (BSI).

The lab successfully tested the interplay of components required for the BSI TR-03109 security-relevant processes.
