Currently offered DARZ.CA Certificate Types
In order to guarantee the integrity, authenticity, and confidentiality of their data, all market participants require valid certificates from the Smart Meter PKI today or in the near future.
The DARZ.CA, as a certified Sub-CA of the Smart Meter PKI according to BSI TR-03145, offers you a reliable and uncomplicated solution to fulfill legal requirements. It supports you in protecting your communication processes quickly and securely.
In close partnership with MTG, DARZ as the operator of the DARZ.CA provides all affected market participants with a comprehensive and cost-efficient portfolio of certificates that covers all statutory requirements.
The following certificate types are currently offered:
- SMGW-W certificates (Smart Meter Gateway active certificates)
- GWA certificates (Gateway Administrator certificates)
- pEMT certificates (for receiving measurement data)
- pEMT certificates (EMT.MAK for AS4 communication, electricity, gas)
- pEMT certificates (EMT.API for the BDEW web API)
- aEMT certificates (active EMT certificates)
- SMGW-H certificates (Smart Meter Gateway quality seal certificates)
- GWH certificates (Gateway manufacturer certificates)
