The MTG Mehrwert-Konnektor (MWK) is a central security and communication module for energy suppliers acting as an active EMT (aEMT), enabling them to control various end devices (CLS - Controllable Local Systems) via the CLS channel and offer value-added services effectively. With this flexible vendor independent solution, different value-added applications and CLS-devices can be operated in compliance with regulations. The innovative software establishes the BSI-TR-03109-compliant communication channel to the SMGW on the server side and also offers the option of controlling any number of connections via the CLS channel.
MTG CLS Stack for your CLS devices
The MTG CLS stack ensures the BSI TR-03109-compliant connection of your hardware to the Smart Meter Gateway. The MTG CLS stack consists of the CLS-HAN stack, an IP connector and the special multiplexing function. If the MTG Mehrwert-Konnektor is used as an active EMT (aEMT), the multiplexing functionality can be added. In all other cases, the MTG CLS stack is used to set up the HAN-CLS link to the SMGW.
The MTG CLS stack ensures the reliable connection of CLS devices to the SMGW via the CLS channel.

Developing and testing: MTG SDK for device manufacturers
The CLS stack is supplied with an SDK for Windows operating systems. This supports the development of the CLS device and the execution of tests. The connection to SMGW, GWA, EMT and SM-PKI is simulated where necessary and significantly reduces the technical preparation effort.

Connecting to the SMGW infrastructure becomes even easier when the CLS stack is combined with the MTG Mehrwert-Konnektor. The standardized TCP/IP addressing allows for project implementation with minimal configuration effort, enabling you to plan and execute your business ideas quickly and reliably.
